About

I’m an Educator, Lecturer and Interior Designer who is a versatile, personable, and highly organized professional. A native of London, I enjoy bringing people together whether that’s through lecturing, collaboration, or events.

During my eclectic 30-year career as an Interior Designer, I have gained extensive experience in creating spaces across all major sectors of the built environment. I have developed and nurtured an international network of industry contacts, colleagues, and associates. I’m an Associate Lecturer and the Future Practice Leader at The Royal College of Art, London for the MA Interior Design Programme. My lecturing also includes Manchester Metropolitan University, Heriot-Watt University, University of the Arts London: Central Saint Martins, Nottingham Trent University, and The University of Plymouth amongst others.

As a seasoned speaker, host, moderator, and panellist, I am regularly appointed for international design events which have included The London Design Festival, Decorex, Workplace Design Show, Clerkenwell Design Week, and The DNA Paris Design Conference amongst others.

In my position as Design Director for Earl Kendrick Interior Design, I lead the London office specialising in the Communal Areas of high-quality apartment buildings. We work closely with architects, developers, and private clients from the initial planning stage, to optimize light and space, harmonize structure and design concepts, and translate original visions into beautiful and playful interiors. And we always look for unique and extraordinary objects to bring those interiors to life.

From 2010 to 2014, I was appointed International Director for the British Institute of Interior Design, travelling the globe and championing British design from Chicago to Delhi and Milan to Tokyo, amongst other locations. Following a diversion into specialist design and architectural recruitment for UK, Asia, and European clients.

I actively campaign for social justice, diversity, equality, and design excellence through my voluntary and mentoring work with Nottingham Trent University, The Royal Society of Arts, United In Design, and The British Institute of Interior Design.
