Design Director

Simon works with clients who value clarity, quality and considered design leadership. His experience spans workplace, residential, healthcare, retail and hospitality, bringing a broad understanding of how design performs commercially, spatially and culturally. He is known for his flair, reliability, adaptability and calm approach, with an ability to read a brief quickly, ask the right questions and guide projects with confidence. His position within the industry, combined with an instinctive feel for people and place, allows him to add value beyond aesthetics alone.

Alongside interior projects, Simon is frequently appointed to support practices and individuals with brand development, personal styling and creative direction. He has designed and delivered a wide range of programmes, including workshops, artist exhibitions, private views, round-table discussions and online webinars. As a founding partner of First Hand Collective, in collaboration with Kevin Haley and Hannah Drakeford, Simon continues this work with local authorities, developers and housing associations, shaping design-led initiatives that are purposeful, well-considered and engaging.
